With just one week to go until Tales of the Nomad hits streaming platforms on May 30th, Zulu Abantu is setting the tone for an unforgettable summer. The highly anticipated project is the first installment in a trilogy that blends powerful storytelling, raw emotion and genre-bending production—marking a defining moment not just for the artist, but for Wavio Records as a whole.

To mark the release, a music video for “Narcissist” will also drop on the same day—delivering a cinematic, thought-provoking glimpse into Zulu’s mind.
Mixed and mastered by Wavio’s own Thomas Priestley, also known as Tom Prod X, the album is sonically sharp and emotionally heavy. As Thomas puts it:
“This will be the summer that shows the world what we're made of.”
But Tales of the Nomad isn’t just a solo moment—it’s the fuse that lights Wavio’s entire summer strategy.
“We’re building something bigger than all of us!”
says Rangu, who’s been instrumental behind the boards and in development conversations.
Krids, co-founder and long-time creative partner, adds:
“It made sense for Zulu to kick start us off, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. What we’ve got in store will raise eyebrows. I won’t say any more.”

Wavio Records: The Movement Has Begun
Tales of the Nomad is just the beginning. Wavio will soon announce two new artist signings, alongside a stacked six-month release schedule featuring new music from Krids, Tom Prod X, Rangu, and of course, more from Zulu Abantu himself.
From the outside, it may look like things are just heating up—but internally, this has been years in the making.
“This is our first summer,” Zulu says, “and we’re going all in. Music, visuals, new artists—this is what a real movement looks like.”

With vision, precision and a growing collective of talent, Wavio Records is poised to become one of the most exciting independent forces in UK music.
